Andy Russell Scientist - PhD Student

Research Interests

I am broadly interested in the processes of malaria, aging, and cancer. Intellectually, I am keen to enter the developing field of single-cell technologies to understand disease mechanisms and processes at the resolution of single cells. Understanding the properties of single cells is essential in understanding the networks that underpin disease progression. I would like to translate this knowledge into novel therapeutic approaches for patients.

I am supervised by Drs Thierry Voet, Oliver Billker, and Mara Lawniczak for my PhD.
